There was a dark mahogany stain painted all over the case with what looked like water damage in various places.	Plus some paint drops.
The hood had been stripped and stained at some point.	Some missing veneer.
The hood needed to be bleached so I could then stain to try to match the base.	After stripping off the old stain and finish the original colour was revealed. This meant that it was more difficult to match the hood.
Got the Match! The case was French polished and beeswaxed.
	Up and running
Repaired lock and new key fitted.
